Journey through the Tower of Time and match time-themed icons such as hourglasses, clock hands, sundials, tree rings, gears, and clepsydras. Each icon features an antique bronze aesthetic. The gameplay introduces “variable time flow”: at the start of each level, the timer counts down at normal speed. However, the flow rate shifts with every match—rapid consecutive matches slow down the passage of time (speed reduced by 5% per pair), while prolonged inactivity causes time to accelerate (speed increases by 10% for every 5 seconds without a match).
Standard Connect rules apply: identical icons must be connected by a path with no more than two turns. An “hourglass” animation at the top of the screen displays the current time flow multiplier (ranging from 0.5x to 2.0x). You must maintain a streak of matches to gain more thinking time. Each level allows for one use of the “Time Rewind” power-up, which reverts the remaining time to what it was 10 seconds prior (without altering level progress).
Additionally, there are special “Stasis Mark” tiles: matching icons located on these tiles pauses the timer for 2 seconds (the connection path must pass through the marked tile to trigger the effect). Every 25 levels features a “Time Turbulence” bonus stage, where the flow rate fluctuates randomly between 0.3x and 3x, testing your adaptability.
Level Design: The 1,960 levels are divided into nineteen chapters (approximately 103 levels per chapter). The first 300 levels use a 6×6 grid with 8 icon types; levels 300–700 use an 8×8 grid with 12 types; levels 700–1,200 use a 10×10 grid with 16 types; and levels 1,200–1,960 use a 12×12 grid with 20 types. The base time per level is 130 seconds; in later stages (beyond level 1,800), the base time is reduced to 90 seconds, though the flow rate can still be slowed through consecutive matches. In later stages (beyond Level 1800), “Time Rifts” appear: when an icon on a rift tile is cleared, another pair of already-matched icons is randomly separated and returned to the board (increasing the difficulty). Every 95 levels features a “Time Guardian” boss stage where the flow of time is locked at 1.5x speed; it cannot be slowed down, requiring rapid gameplay.
